Purpose and Scope
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings, enrolments, and participation in travel programmes (“Programmes”) organised by Nomad Outdoor Division (“NOD”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking or taking part in a Programme, you (“you”, “Participant”, or “Parent/Guardian”) confirm that you have read, understand, and accept these Terms in full.
These Terms apply to all services provided through www.nomad-outdoor-division.com, email correspondence, and digital forms issued by NOD.

NOD is a travel organisation specialising in educational and experiential travel programmes for teenagers and young adults.
3. Definitions
For clarity throughout these Terms:
• Participant: The individual enrolled in a Programme.
• Parent/Guardian: The legal representative of a Participant under 18 years of age.
• Programme: Any travel, cultural, or educational experience operated or coordinated by NOD.
• Booking Confirmation: The written confirmation issued by NOD after receipt of the required deposit and enrolment form.
• Deposit: The non-refundable amount payable to secure a booking.
• Force Majeure: Any event beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disaster, political unrest, epidemic, strike, war, or similar).
• Working Days: Sunday to Thursday, excluding UAE public holidays.
4. Eligibility and Parental Consent
Programmes are open to participants aged 14 to 22 who demonstrate maturity, respect for others, and willingness to engage in group activities.
For participants under 18, a Parent or Legal Guardian must complete the enrolment and accept these Terms on the Participant’s behalf. Parents remain jointly and severally responsible for all obligations under the contract.
5. Booking and Contract Formation
A booking becomes binding only when:
1. NOD receives a completed enrolment form and the non-refundable deposit of AED 1,000; and
2. NOD issues a written Booking Confirmation.
By confirming a booking, you establish a contractual agreement with NOD, subject to these Terms and any additional programme information provided prior to booking.
6. Payment Terms
• AED 1,000 setup fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 60 days before departure, unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking, with applicable fees deducted.
• All payments must be made through NOD’s approved partners (Stripe or Wio Bank). NOD does not accept cash payments.
7. Price, Currency, and Adjustments
All prices are quoted in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams) unless otherwise indicated. Prices may be subject to adjustment due to fluctuations in exchange rates, taxes, or supplier costs. If such changes exceed 5% of the total price, NOD will inform you and provide the option to accept the change or receive a full refund (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
8.1 Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to NOD.
The following cancellation fees apply:

| 30–44 days | 75% of the total cost |
| Less than 30 days or no-show | 100% of the total cost |
No refunds are given for unused services, early departures, or expulsions due to misconduct.
8.2 Cancellation by NOD
NOD reserves the right to cancel a Programme in cases of:
• Insufficient participant numbers;
• Force Majeure events; or
• Safety or operational concerns.
In such cases, participants will be offered:
• A transfer to an alternative programme or date; or
• A full refund of all payments made (excluding any external travel expenses, such as flights or visas).
9. Programme Modifications
NOD reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, transportation, or activities if necessary to ensure participant safety, legal compliance, or the smooth operation of the programme.
All changes will be made in good faith and will not significantly diminish the overall value of the Programme.

10. Behaviour, Conduct, and Discipline
Participants are expected to exhibit respectful, responsible, and cooperative behaviour throughout the Programme.
Parents and Participants acknowledge that:
• NOD has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, discrimination, violence, or substance use.
• Participants must comply with all safety instructions from NOD staff and local partners.
• NOD reserves the right to dismiss any Participant whose conduct endangers themselves, others, or the programme’s integrity.
In cases of dismissal, parents will be notified immediately and held responsible for any costs incurred due to the Participant’s early departure. No refund will be given for unused portions of the Programme.
11. Health, Safety, and Insurance
• Participants must be physically and mentally fit to join the selected Programme.
• Parents/Guardians must disclose any relevant medical information or medication needs before departure.
• NOD strongly recommends participants obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering illness, accident, cancellation, and repatriation.
• NOD staff may, if necessary, seek medical care on behalf of a Participant, including emergency treatment, when parental consent cannot be immediately obtained.
12. Liability and Indemnity
• NOD’s liability is limited to direct losses proven to result from negligence or breach of duty.
• NOD is not liable for loss, injury, or damage resulting from:
• Acts of third parties or other participants;
• Events of Force Majeure;
• Personal negligence or failure to comply with safety instructions.
• In no event shall NOD be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
• The Participant and/or Parent agree to indemnify NOD for any loss or damage caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence during the Programme.
13. Force Majeure
NOD shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, political unrest, or government restrictions. In such cases, NOD will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide credit for future participation.
14. Travel Documents and Compliance
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their passports, visas, and travel documents remain valid for the duration of the Programme. Failure to obtain the necessary documentation does not entitle the Participant to a refund.
15. Privacy and Data Protection

16. Photographs and Media Consent
By participating in NOD Programmes, you give NOD permission to take and use photographs, videos, or testimonials for promotional and educational purposes, unless you explicitly withdraw consent in writing before you leave.
17. Intellectual Property
All website content, brand assets, and materials provided during Programmes are the exclusive property of NOD. They may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
18. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Any complaint must be reported immediately to NOD staff on-site so that it can be resolved promptly. If unresolved, the complaint must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the Programme’s conclusion.
We aim to resolve all issues amicably. If no agreement can be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubai, UAE, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights applicable in the Participant’s country of residence.
19. Severability
If any clause of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall continue to apply in full force and effect.
20. Updates to These Terms
NOD reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will apply to bookings made after the updated version is published on our website.
21. Acknowledgement and Acceptance
By submitting an enrolment form or taking part in a Programme, the Parent/Guardian and Participant acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
